About the Workshop
In the quiet outskirts of Kyoto, each work emerges from careful hands. Guided by time, tradition, and the slender grace of bamboo, every basket and tool carries the gentle mark of its maker.
Rooted in Japanese craft, our studio weaves not just material, but spirit—honoring simplicity, wisdom in patience, and nature’s subtle gifts.
Materials & Process
Our bamboo is chosen from mountain groves, gently harvested in their right season. Each stalk is split, scraped, and shaped by hand, preserving the fiber’s integrity.
Slow weaving bonds strip to strip, patience drawing subtle curves and lines. Surfaces are finished with quiet care—unadorned, revealing the living texture of nature.
Philosophy
In stillness, form is revealed. In the passage of seasons, bamboo remembers rain and wind. Simplicity endures, echoing the quiet beauty found in nature and in time’s gentle hand.
